Yeah, a lot of :mindblown: anytime the nominations come out.

First and foremost is the fact that Tatiana Maslany didn't get nominated for giving one of the best performances on TV period :damn:

No love for the Americans either when both Philthy Phil and Lay it down Liz put in work this season again.

No love for Hannibal which improved on its 1st season and had a great 2nd season.

C/S the part about it would have been nice to see Dean Norris get a nomination this year.

On the positive, True Detective and Fargo did get a lot of nominations. In best actor I see Rusty taking it home, Cranston has already won a bunch for his role and the Emmys LOVE movie stars. I could see Breaking Bad winning best drama though.

It was nice to see Lena Headley get nominated, she is a c*nt of a character but a hell of an actress.

Also Capt **** from Brooklyn Nine Nine as well, his deadpan delivery is always funny.

I'm guessing these dumb shows with big ratings like Big Bang Theory and Scandal getting noms is only to attract viewers to watch the Emmy awards.

:heh:Stuggle awards.

pedro pascal is the biggest snub. most of the others you can at least point to the heavy competition in their category, but best guest actor in a drama not even a big category and he still got overlooked despite his fantastic performance.

I don't know about the Americans... the show is alright but I don't know if its particularly Emmy worthy.

The performances are usually great but best Actor is stacked this year. I've never watched the Newsroom so I don't know about Daniels but I wouldn't rank Matthew Rhys over the other nominees.

I mean look at this... this year's best actor nominees have a combined

24 Emmy Nominations
5 Emmy Wins (Harrelson, Cranston, Cranston, Cranston, Daniels)

5 Oscar Nominations
3 Oscar Wins (Spacey, Spacey, McConaughey)

2 Tony Award Winners (Spacey, Cranston)

And don't forget McConaughey and Cranston are both winners from 2014.. and are the clear frontrunners for the Emmy

If McConaughey and Harrleson we're nominated in the miniseries category like they should be, I think Mads and Rhys would have been next up for best actor.

On the actress side, I don't watch many of those shows but I think Keri Russell was certainly worthy of a nomination

The Americans and Boardwalk empire both got snubbed :beli:

granted i'm a big boardwalk empire stan, but the americans gets zero love other than margo? :dahell:
and no love for dr narcisse aka jeffrey wright!? :dahell: @obarth
I think the Emmy's need more categories. They need to separate Cable dramas from Network dramas.
