:salute: Breaking Bad

Dean Norris shoulda got some love tho
Dean Norris should have gotten best supporting actor in season 3, he's been phenomenal this entire series and his acting doesn't get enough recognition.
Even One Minute get's glossed over when talking about Breaking Bad now.

Breaking Bad deserved the wins it got. It was the best show out there.

Dean Norris ruined his shot at the Emmy by moving from BB to that shytty Under The Dome.

Anna Gunn and Cranston deserved their wins but Aaron Paul didn't deserve his. He was the weakest link of the final season acting wise and there was no better Supporting Actor scene than Dinklage's "trial by combat" speech on Game of Thrones.

IGN discussion:

Eric and Daemon chat about the big winners and losers this year, as Breaking Bad and Modern Family triumphed again, while True Detective went home with less than expected.

:manny:

Like I said earlier in the thread I was ok with either. It's seeming like "Game Of Thrones" ain't gonna win shyt, basically ever, so I would've preferred Dinklage just based on that alone. I didn't expect "BB" to completely dominate the entire show.

IGN discussion:

Dude said the same thing we did. HBO fukked up submitting "True Detective" in the main drama category.

However he was kinda on some bullshyt saying the Emmys vote for the same thing over and over. IMO they try to go against the grain too much sometimes which is how we get odd ball wins like Jeff Daniels, who let's be real wasn't on anybody's radar to win that year.

@Prodigal Syndicate I mean to respond earlier.

"Newsroom" ain't bad at all. It's actually pretty good. But it's a solid 8 going against 10s.

Sooooooo...... You're saying if it didn't air on HBO & aired on another cable network or Netflix instread, folks would think more highly of it

No I'm saying it's merely a solid choice that has virtually no chance of winning against the shows in it's category. Same as "Downton Abbey". "Boardwalk Empire" or "Game Of Thrones" would win long before "The Newsroom" and neither of those shows are on anybody's radar to win Best Drama. It was "TD" vs "Breaking Bad" this year, it always comes down to 2 shows.

But they have a set number of slots to fill per Emmy show, they have to put something else in there.
