They have a HUGE stadium, loyal fans, and are in a good area for recruiting. They underachieved for many years under Paterno, but with the right coach they can be really good.

Pac 12 championship game is going to Santa Clara for a few years..

As was speculated earlier this month, the Pac-12 officially announced Thursday that its football championship game will be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. The stadium, which opens this August and will serve as the home of the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers, will play host to the Dec. 5 game this year as well as the games in 2015 and 2016.

It kinda sucks all the good Pac 12 teams are in the North. The north teams will be killing each other to play UCLA again this year...

If only there was another team from the Pac 12 south who was decent...

Ya, there really going to build the Pac 12 champ game up over the coming years. Larry Scott(Pac 12 president) is not dumb. Never mind giving fans 2 weeks notice, this move is all about building the Pac 12 brand up.
