Crazy part is there's still a large section of this fan base that still believe Goldens some elite recruiter. This program is gonna be stuck where it's at because we've missed on way too many of the elite Miami kids.

don't confuse me with someone who is a blind Golden supporter. That's not the case. So far I think he's been a pretty shyt coach.
"The Cloud" excuse has expired nikka
I'll Throw out "11 cause i was just Golden was on the job for like a month b4 NSD. I'll even give you "12. Since that was when it looked like Miami was '13 and '14 tho
Golden has more excuses than wins vs Teams with a winning record. If it ain't "The Cloud" it's "kid just wants out of Miami" or he's getting paid. After the NCAA shyt ended all u heard was "handcuffs are off now" then we limped into NSD lost our best and most needed recruit to LSU.
Elite recruiters scoop up 3/4 of that list. Great/Good are at around half. Adequate recruiters like Golden get 2-3 and fill the rest of the class with projects.

Fact is that you're acting like Miami has been on a level playing field in the recruiting game these last few years and that's not even close to being true. In addition to trying to turnaround the shyttiest period ever in the history of our program (Shannon), the "cloud" as you call it, was in fact a huge hindrance. It would be an enormous obstacle for just about any school. Look at the schools that the vast majority of those kids chose to go to over Miami and tell me who the hell would have been able to convince them to come to Miami after watching us get our asses kicked on the field and not even knowing our fate to boot?

Yall also have to think about Miami the program. It doesn't have the recent success, facilities, the stadiums, the fanbase, or the money that a UF, FSU, Bama, etc. have.
Its a tough sell. Some schools(Penn State/Tennessee)are recruiting well despite lack of recent success because of being elite in other areas. I don't know if Miami has those advantages.
New allegations have arisen that James Franklin contacted the victim who was allegedly raped by several of his football players when he was head coach at Vanderbilt University.
What's more, Franklin had allegedly recruited the victim - in an apparent violation of NCAA rules - to assist him in recruiting players to the Vanderbilt team because she was "pretty."
The allegations were made in a court filing by the defense in the rape case and reported Tuesday by The Tennessean.
Anyone else peeped this James Franklin story? Damn, at least let the brotha coach a game before you go after his job
