People underestimate cole's female audience. Everyone thinks drake has the women on lock, cole has a huge female fanbase, and an educated one at that. My friends don't really fukk with rap outside of it being on the radio, but they all cop (purchase) cole's music (Kendrick as well)
True that, I think if you wanna strike up a discussion about Rap with women Kendrick, Drake and J. Cole are safe bets.
@ Cole going platinum.

im sure that was true in the past but im not so sure anymore. seems like artists being forced on us not the other way round of us forcing artists on the mainstream.I dont really post but I wanna say something before I go MIA again. Why cant people give props without shading other rappers? Congrats to Cole! This rap shyt is so diverse right now, as it should be. It something for everybody. Even tho im not a fan of all of them.. Its room for Cole, Meek, Ye, Macklemore, Kendrick, Nicki, Migos, Drake, Yo Gotti Logic, Wale, Future, Rich Gang, Wiz Mac Miller, Ace Hood, Gambino and I can go on. According to the coli rap should just be all positive music? Its a lane for everybody right now. Everybodys eating. You can make good music and still flop. Its all about the approach. Drake, Cole and Kendrick are exceptions wit goin platinum. About the streets thing...Its corny how people on the internet always try to shyt on the streets. Yall do know the streets is not just the hood, right? The streets is motherfcukas you see playing loud music in the car, clubs, phones. ipods. You go anywhere outside and you hear people playing certain songs and albums. The streets fukking with Drake 10 Bands heavy right now. That Meek Monster joint, Fabs shyt and a lot ofter shyt. People doing shows because of mixtapes It seems to me thecoli (and other forums)stereotyping the streets as ignorant Blacks
.The streets make the shyt hot first then the top 40 crowd jumps on it (no shade). But i'll let yall continue to cook cus I dont wanna debate this and go back and forth
