USC coach Lane Kiffin and his star receiver Marqise Lee appear to have a different version of the facts when it comes to whether the Trojans did or did not hold a ‘players-only’ meeting on Sunday.

Following this past Saturday’s 10-7 loss to Washington State at the Coliseum, Lee told reporters that there would be a players’ meeting the next day.

On Sunday, Kiffin said a meeting had not been held and reiterated it to the media again after practice on Tuesday.

But Lee, one of USC’s team captains, said Tuesday that Kiffin was wrong, as these tweets attest:

Marqise Lee said Lane Kiffin incorrect about players only meeting not happening. "Kiffin don't know," Lee said #USC

Early lines for week 3 for you sportsbook peeps:
  • The suddenly arrogant again Tennessee volunteers are 20 point underdogs headed to Eugene to face the Oregon Ducks.

You Bama slime. Last Year, Tenn was arrogant. This year they're :whoa: They were people actually thought the Vols were losing to WKU.

I wouldn't even say a lot of fans were arrogant last year. People were excited to have College Game Day back in town, but the fanbase was still divided on whether or not we would even beat Florida.

The only thing arrogant about Tennessee was really Tyler Bray. Other than that, everyone's been quiet the past few years. Lane Kiffin before that, but he was cocky to draw attention, and it didn't really translate to the fanbase well, with the exception of the younger fans. In 2008 the fans didn't have time to be arrogant because the civil war that broke out with everyone arguing on whether or not to can Fulmer. In 07 the fans didn't have anything to be arrogant about because UT only made the SEC CG because no one else stepped up to claim a spot. Before those years 06 we didn't really beat anyone and Foster fumbled away the W against PSU in the Outback Bowl. 05 was a debacle.

I guess the last time that UT fans were truly obnoxious and arrogant was probably following the Florida win in 2004 (NINE years ago).

Man we suck now...

WELL THIS IS GOOD

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/ncaaf-...e-benefits-to-five-sec-players-202513237.html

Five Southeastern Conference football stars violated NCAA rules by receiving extra benefits prior to completing their collegiate careers, a Yahoo Sports investigation has found. The benefits – which in some cases came from multiple individuals – were conveyed to University of Alabama offensive tackle D.J. Fluker, University of Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray, Tennessee defensive end Maurice Couch, Mississippi State University defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and Mississippi State wideout Chad Bumphis.

Let me act like a Bama fan:

"Yall will stripped of your titles, its in the Bible"

"The Death Penalty isn't far behind"

"You fans should be ashamed for defending yourselves against these accusations"

Give those titles back :camby:
