I was sitting in the damn box seats to the right of the dugout, 5 rows from the field, and MAN, the fans were just soooo hoping Beckett would blow up. When he gave up the first homer, ti was chaos. Sooo many golf references and swears.

That booing ovation he got after giving up 7 in less than 3 was ASTOUNDINGLY loud in person.

Funny thing is people were cheering just as loud as ever for Pedroia when he hit his homer run.

Beckett needs to be moved, because him and the JD Drew clone at first base are lacking in what that locker room needs something fierce.

What did you think of Valentine's first standing ovation?

Could you see Beckett fighting off that grin when he handed Valentine the ball?

I heard someone say that Indian players were yelling "fore!" when they smoked the ball...

Do you think we could get 3 broken bats straight up for Beckett?

Who would be better right now? Beckett or Lackey as is?

I am so happy they fired out best manager ever because he lost control of that players and then proceeded to throw him under a bus, backup and run him over again... Then hire a guy that would control the players and end the crap...

The guy wearing the paper bag behind home plate, was that John Henry? I saw he was in the stands early in the game, probably left.

I'm happy the amount of money tickets cost for the game, how do I get one fo those comp 600 tickets to help the sell out?

Is liverpool still playing?

How much money is on the DL? I thought we revamped the medical staff and strength and conditioning coaches?

Good to see Valentine's tough ST is working out

It's too bad Middlebrooks has to be exposed to the cancer... just hang out with Pedrioa, you'll be ok.

Good job John Henry, Larry Luchinno, puppet Ben cherington, and golden goose Bobby Valentine.

For every awesome move ownership made 03-09, is now slowing being erased from 10-12.

Red Sox pitcher and fried chicken connoisseur Josh Beckett gave up seven runs in 2 1/3 innings against the Indians last night. After the game, the right-hander was asked about playing golf a day after missing a start because of a strained muscle in his shoulder. Beckett responded, "We get 18 off days a year. I think we deserve a little time to ourselves."

Youk's back... playing first, A Gon in right... can they keep throwing A Gon in right?

I heard more than a few rumors that they may keep AGon in right while they showcase Youk at 1st for trade bait. Leaving Middlebrooks where he is supposedly.

Also heard that Phillies had scouts at his Pawtucket game the other day.
