the problem with the flexbone is its "too" run heavy

nothing wrong with a strong run game, but the way they play turns off both good QBs and WRs

if he opened up the passing game and got him some good physical possession receivers it would be a thing of beauty, but the option accounts for 95% of all play calls

its antiquated, only reason it works is when the opponent isnt playing sound gap control which honestly would allow anyones run game to work good

i used to be a fan but the more ive studied football the more it looks old and high schoolish

They will always have problems with athletic defenses that have ample time to prepare for them.

That's wild that Louisville, with supposedly no history, has won as many BCS bowls as FSU and VT.
