we should be flipping omer in a package for kevin martin

have noah get on the horn and get his boy turiaf over here to back him up

plug taj at center at times when we are trying to focus on interior defense

plus we have a potent offensive weapon to run with rose who can score all day

cmon bulls front office, do the right thing.

it would be totally embarrassing if we lose omer and get nothing out of it.
atleast Lee and a 1st :damn:

what would u suggest smart?

Option 1 IMO is working a s/t like everyone is saying for Asik, they got pieces ..

I just don't feel like the FO will do shyt...they'll stand pat....again.

I'm losing faith at a rapid pace and it's alarming...

I mean, what was so hard about buying a 2nd round pick on draft day?...or flipping one of the bench mob for a 2nd round pick?...Filling out the bench role players with young cats, that are probably just as good as your current role players ALREADY...lol...

save your damn money...

nikkas act like a big fish in a small tiny ass little ass pond...smh..

I was waiting for Watson to be dealt for a 2nd rounder so we could draft Lamb Barton or Miller. Wasting those non-guarantees is dumb

Chicago Bulls news: The latest Chicago Bulls news and pictures from the Chicago Tribune - chicagotribune.com
Salary cap situation: It's ugly. Factoring in Marquis Teague's rookie-scale contract of $1,028,400, the Bulls have $64,322,763 committed to eight players. That's over a cap projected to be $58 million or slightly higher. The luxury tax is projected to be $70.3 million or slightly higher. Assuming a $5 million salary for Asik — who met with Rockets officials as free agency opened, according to the Houston Chronicle — the Bulls would be at $69.3 million of payroll with three or four more players still needed to be signed to fill the roster.

The Bulls also need to add perimeter shooting, particularly if they decline to pick up Kyle Korver's $5 million option. The deadline on that decision is later than the July 10 deadline for team options on Ronnie Brewer and C.J. Watson, although the Bulls would give Korver ample notice to find another job should they not retain him. Korver is believed to be the only one of the three under consideration to return.

Targets: Hinrich, who made $8 million last season, would have to sign for a serious hometown discount to return. He has been linked to returning ever since the Bulls traded him to the Wizards to clear more salary-cap space for the 2010 pursuit of James, Wade and Bosh. He told the Tribune in March he planned to explore all options but would be open to returning.

The Bulls also have done background on West and restricted free agent Brandon Rush, league sources said. They also planned to monitor Roy's attempt to come back from chronic knee injuries that forced the Trail Blazers to use their amnesty provision on the two-time All-Star before last season. Yahoo Sports reported the Bulls are one of five finalists for Roy's services, although Rose's injury and desire to sign mostly veteran minimum deals could affect their pursuit. The Bulls also were in discussions to re-sign John Lucas III for a veteran's minimum, sources said.

fukk.

If we're limited on funds, plan on resigning Asik -- Houston will try to fukk us on the contract -- then fukk Lucas, tell him to pack his shyt.

We're limited in funds, I'd rather have West and Teague handling the 1 spot and try to sneak another guy in.

Former #Celtics Leon Powe to play on Bulls Summer League team. Could change if he signs with a team before then. #CelticsTalk

300 murders a year
the team is going to have to go into the tax anyway.

if they were that self conscious of the tax they should have never hit noah with that contract

to late to turn back now

only question will they go into the tax for just omer and just kirk hinrich

or will they go ahead say fukk it grab some good pieces and pay the tax for guys who can really contribute.

lol looks like they getting they back up plan in case omer is backloaded

again, this will be embarrassing if omer is gone due to the back load and we end up with just leon powe, when we could have flipped omer, not just this off season, but last off season for a shot creating guard :snoop:

The CJ, Korver and Brewer deals were un-guaranteed for the last year to give us flexibility.

We didn't take advantage of that at all and it's looking like Asik is gone. :beli:

its the Bulls fault just letting them walk but the new CBA is trash for a team as tight as us
