I mean if they do trade Noah and Deng if they don't get anyone close to or above their value it might not be that bad an option have a younger team with a high lottery pick with a healthy Rose at the helm plus Miroric isn't a bad look for the future

A year off for D-Rose might not be all to bad. He can develop that well needed jumpshot. All that flying and twisting around isn't going to be an option throughout all 30-something minutes he plays a night. He will have to save all that fancy shyt for specific situations and games. Bulls will still make the playoffs and they have no reason to tank it. They will probably make a trade and players will step up. Tibs will demand that.

The Bulls will pick up their option on Tom Thibodeau's contract for the 12-13 NBA season.

The two sides will also begin extension discussions this summer.

"Obviously, we value Tom greatly," GM Gar Forman said. "We value what he brings to the organization and what he brings to the team and think he's one of the finest coaches in the league and we're hopeful he'll be our coach long-term.

Thibodeau said an extension is not foremost on his mind.

"I'm not worried about that," he said. "Those things take care of themselves."

yall need to figure out a way to 1) get young talent from the draft and 2) look at free agents, and sign them pretending DRose aint on the roster...

Louis Williams will be available...Eric Gordon, OJ Mayo, Batum, Beasely, etc...try to get one of these guys...

as far as getting young talent in the draft...the Bulls would have to be willing to part with their 1st rounder along with either Noah or Deng in order to get into the lottery...a team like the Blazers would be interested in Luol Deng, and they have 2 lottery picks...Bulls are gonna need scoring from the peremiter badly with Rose gon, so with a lottery pick they would be smart to look at guys like Austin Rivers, Jeremy Lamb, maybe even Damian Lillirad as a combo gurard...

If they're in tank mode I doubt they try and stack picks in this year's draft. They'll want to suck to get a shot at Shabazz in next year's draft.

we wont be bad enough to pull a full blown tank job but we will need to move deng to secure a number 2 option thru the draft. Jeremy Lamb could be the guy. Then I would try to sucker some team into taking Booz at the deadline he aint going nowhere as of now.
