Especially in position of authorities like teaching, that allow them to control children. Countless kids have been molested and raped by homos who adopted these kids. Somehow the same article then refers to another source and the figure jumps to "Sixty percent of black girls have experienced sexual abuse at the hands of black men before reaching the age of 18". 25% and 60% no evidence provided to support this.

And all you have to show is an obscure source this "Stone, R.D., No Secrets, No Lies: How Black Families Can Heal from Sexual Abuse", which I'm sure y'all haven't read. You know nothing about it's methodology, sample size. I'm going to get hold of this book.

And I didn't use the statistics(i really don't put that much stock into online polls), this is actually the first time I've these figures, I googled the quotes, found the sources in a few seconds, and came back here and posted them so you can see that the statistics actually have a source.

The author of the book is not a researcher, in fact she didn't conduct any research, she's a journalist

What she quotes is an estimate that 1 in 4 women (in general not specific to black demographics) and 1 in 6 men (in general) are molested as children

you're correct, and if her next sentence is correct then 26%(using 2000 census numbers http://www.census.gov/population/www/cen2000/briefs/phc-t9/tables/tab03.pdf) of black women have reported a history of sexual abuse

In 2000 the number of black men over the age of 18 was 11,302,409(http://www.census.gov/population/www/cen2000/briefs/phc-t9/tables/tab05.pdf), from this we can see that around 17% of black men over the age of 18 have reported a history of sexual abuse.

She stated that thing as a fact in the same way certain politicians quote certain bogus statistics about black criminality as fact.

Not the same thing, I'm not sure if you're alluding to the crime stats that donald trump retweeted but if you are we can see that the stats were pulled out of thin air and and made into an infograph.

She actually did a little more than just say 'it happens a lot', she gave us figures(though they were sourced), some more numbers would have been helpful but she did more than you give her credit for.

Those numbers are obtained by assuming that 25% of american women and 17% of american men were abused before their 18th birthday: this is utter bullshyt

doesn't it say "looking back on their childhood" and "abused as children"?

If I ask women to take a survey and share their stories of sexual molestation, should I then be surprised that the majority of the 300 respondents are women that were actually molested.
