Not really a stat when MS can't even put these so-called "Xbox" games from the publisher they acquired on Game Pass for their subscribers
Minecraft is on Game Pass. Call of Duty obviously can't be included on Game Pass until probably somewhere around 2025-2026.

Sony has a contract with Activision Blizzard that prevents Call of Duty from coming to Game Pass for "a number of years" per 2022.
Activision Blizzard guaranteed the next 3 COD games would be on PlayStation. Also as of 2022. That would mean at the earliest (because 2022 and 2023 CoD games have released) the release for the end of 2025 they'd be free of that contract.

Not Ducktales at all.

That’s like bragging about being a nepo baby. Your success didn’t come from your own work you just inherited it from the work of others.

It’s not like the developers at Xbox made Call of Duty and it became popular. Someone else created the franchise. It would have meaning if Xbox created that because their problem has been that they haven’t made many successful franchises like that

You think PlayStation, minus Sony bankrolling them was making money like that to buy the developers they have?

Especially before digital sales really popped off.

You'll gladly give Sony props for ratchet games. Even though thats not something they created, oh but that's different because it's been exclusive to PS right? No...

The only game propping playstion up right now is Spider-man.

One of the most popular IP to ever touch earth, that sony purchased, and purchased a 3rd party studio to make the game.

As always, sony stan’s narratives don’t hold up to reality.

Them nikkas are delusional as fukk :mjlol:

You get what Sony was doing even if you want to pretend as if you don’t. Finding developers and working with them. If it works out they bring them onto the team. They had a direct relationship that for the most part was exclusive.

You are comparing that to a major third party publisher making a popular series and down the road on a whim due to a scandal they’re like yeah we got the money on the balance sheet let’s buy them.

Hell the purchase was so big they literally couldn’t pull the games from a rival platform even if they wanted to because if they went forth with that intention it would have been blocked.

Right, a purchase as recent as 2019 is basically what's keeping them in the headlines.

If Spiderman 1 and 2 and miles wasn't "exclusive 1st party titles" PlayStation would be looking kinda funny in the light to these same Stans.

Meanwhile Microsoft can't even get props for Minecraft which they've not only owned for like 9 years, but branded and even have a movie releasing for soon.

They are doing the exact same thing within the boundaries they can afford.

If we both out shopping for a new car and I pull up to the lot and buy one because I like it, and you buy one after months of research, budgeting, test driving and spending time with it.

At the end of it all, what are we both doing? :jbhmm:

Spoiled alert....

We both still buying a car.

That’s fiction.

Even if it wasn’t what does that say about the company that was offered that franchise and turned it down only to watch a competitor pick it up pick up Insomniac and make it a GOTY level hit?

Suddenly the company that made that boo boo wants to make Blade? What happened there? Did they realize they fukked up?

There's a salvage and surplus chain around me that somewhat regularly sells Type S consoles for under $180 (mint condition, usually Target stock), and it always takes a hot minute to move 'em
I passed on a series x for like $300 on Amazon warehouse deals.. I would have nothing exclusive to play on it since I have a pc so I said no
