Isn't this one of the risks of being a police officer? I honestly don't see what the big deal is. They got shot at before Brown & Garner and they'll continue to be shot at in their line of work. The shooter fled and wound up in a carjacked white Camaro that crashed on E. 188th St. and Park Ave. Police recovered a revolver, hidden in a hat, a block away at E. 189th St., sources said.

Police determined an initial suspect is not the shooter. Detectives are investigating whether the man, who was shot in the shoulder blade, was injured in a related incident.

The man drove up to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in a car similar to the suspects' original getaway car, prompting suspicion, sources said. His grey Nissan Altima is most likely a rental.

so the cops claim to have shot one of the suspects in the back. they find a dude at a hospital in the heights who was shot in the shoulder blade and think he was a suspect so they almost take him in. then they realize he wasnt one. thats a crazy coincidence.
