Technically a lot of lotteries do require you to publically identity to receive the prize. That rule leaves people like him open to the wolves.

I hate that rule, I remember it was some dude who collected his winnings wearing a mask.

But I was moreso talking about Paparazzi and these blog sites putting people front and center like posting his new houses and old houses. Thats like giving nefarious muthafukkas a blueprint who might want to do him harm.

Again i’m glad he’s got security though. I’ve always said if I ever won the lottery and it was more than 250K i’m going SUPER GHOST from any and everybody. My mama would be taken of and my siblings would each get a one time and one time ONLY check and after that finding me would be like finding Waldo because i’m disappearing to Ghana and finding a woman who looks like THIS

Why they got pictures of dude like that?
Every lottery winner that’s had to claim their winnings publicly have NEVER been stalked by the press like this. EVER! They do their mandatory press conference and are never seen again (unless they volunteer to do interviews).

They’ve literally exposed his whole background, his location and where he banks. This is way outta line. I hope he stays safe but if anything happens, the paparazzi needs to be held accountable.
I’ve never seen this before. They’re lining him up but we know why.
A lot of lottery winners are older and it’s hard to use them for marketing. This guy is young so they definitely want him seen.

The California resident who became an overnight millionaire after winning the $2 billion Powerball prize flashed a wide grin as he was spotted dipping into his large fortune on Wednesday.

Edwin Castro was photographed taking out a fat envelope of cash from a Chase bank Wednesday with his newly hired security team in tow.

The lucky 30-year-old, who was dressed down in a quarter-zip Under Armour shirt, joggers and flip-flops while running his bank errand, added a whopping $997.6 million to his account when he won the largest lottery prize in US history last year.
