2.6 million bucks = 3.8/4 mill pound sterling will cater that rock n roll life style for a year or less in current times. If he didn't invest in property then oh well to him..I hope he enjoyed the ride while it lasted.

:rudy: 2.6 million dollars is about 1.7 million pounds and you can look that up if you think im gassing

At 10% interest I could live comfortably & happily off of winning just a $1,000,000...

$100k a year? And I have my *TIME*??? :heh:

Exactly. Do they even publicize such a (relatively) low cash prize?

My friend's fam won a small lottery when he was younger. His parents were smart - they paid off the house and just saved the rest and continued living their lives normally.

$700 in interest? Math/money heads, is that the actual interest off 2.6 millie?

Man, that puts broke millionaires in a whole new light for me

doesn't sound possible lol...

$700/day
$21,000/month
$255,000/year
$2.6 million principle

It's 10% a year

ok, breh. I'm not a big financial knowledge guy, but isn't a 10% interest rate into the fishy territory that Bernie Madoff was offering? :usure:

10% is very high...usually its around 5-7%

So it is Ponzi scheme territory.

And let's cut that interest rate down to a modest 3-4% and make it 90k in interest a year. I wouldn't see the problem if someone were to still keep his 35 or 40k job.
:manny:

Better than winning only 2 mil (once) and living like you're earning 2 mil every year. :comeon:
