Saw Eddie Hearn say he's heard some things behind the scenes that make him think even more Wilder will win the fight, seemed to imply it may be to do with Fury's fitness/weight coming in.
I've had some conversations recently with people I know, I go back and forth to an extent cause I see it as a 50/50 or very close to it, if you put a gun to my head now I'd pick Fury but such a close fight Wilder could end it at any time, early or late, he has phenomenal power that can carry throughout a whole fight, without knowing the exact tactics beforehand it's very hard to predict, both are not unbeatable.
Fury would have the best of the fight if he can be smartly aggressive, he's a heavier and taller man, if he can grab Wilder, lean on him, waste time when needed, and back him up when needed while being careful he has the chance of a wide point decision of even a stoppage, but if Wilder catches him clean, particularly early on it's gonna be very hard to manage the rest of the fight.
If I was Wilder I'd try get him out of there early/asap and I wouldn't let rounds go by losing because then the longer the fight goes on he may get more desperate which could work in Fury's advantage, I wouldn't go mad but I would be very aggressive and make sure he's winning rounds too with that aggression and landing.
Can't wait, wish it was this weekend instead.
