Part of trying to treat it more like a “real sport” like New Japan does and other real combat sports like MMA and boxing.

Like you don’t generally get random unannounced fights popping up on a UFC or boxing event once the show has started. Or at least I’ve never heard of it happening. But I admit I don’t watch that stuff; however, I follow some wrestling people who do so end up inevitably reading some stuff.
