I wouldn’t be opposed to getting a vet qb next year, while the teams has a rookie qb “redshirt”, but getting a vet this year is stupid.

There’s chatter online that Andrew Thomas might need to have season ending surgery on his foot. If that’s true, The Giants need to trade Slayton and Azeez. Get some picks and bench Jones. You can’t let this man get hurt and trigger those injury guarantees for next year. They gotta do the smart thing here. This team isn’t going anywhere this year.

Yep, hopefully this can get them in the top 5 draft wise, but it’s gon be hard to outtank the Titans; Panthers, and Commanders.

If the Giants can somehow snag Cam Ward or Shadeur, I’d consider this a successful season, need to get a good qb prospect this April.

This is a great L, because it establishes two things.

1. That the team offensively is far off from contending(roughly 2 years), as the team needs another weapon; more o-line depth, and most importantly a new qb.

2. The season is officially over, so stop all delusional talks of “Giants may compete” or “The NFC East is mid, Giants can possibly sneak in the playoffs”, and let us turn our attention to the draft. That starts w/ trading a vet like Slayton for a pick, as he has no future on this team, and hopefully finishing in top 5 draft position.
