This is a great L, because it establishes two things.
1. That the team offensively is far off from contending(roughly 2 years), as the team needs another weapon; more o-line depth, and most importantly a new qb.
2. The season is officially over, so stop all delusional talks of “Giants may compete” or “The NFC East is mid, Giants can possibly sneak in the playoffs”, and let us turn our attention to the draft. That starts w/ trading a vet like Slayton for a pick, as he has no future on this team, and hopefully finishing in top 5 draft position.
