Can anybody give me a quick assessment of what is going on? Did Sinema win, like confirmed? Is Nelson realistically still in it? Is there going to be a run off in Georgia? Can we get to a recount in Fla for Gillum?

Sinema hasn't won. She is up right now but there's a lot of vote left to be counted. GOP is suing to stop the count.

Nelson is down by 15k votes. Gillum is down 36k votes. They're still counting votes in Broward County. A recount for Nelson will find faulty ballots.

Abrams race is still being counted. There is speculation of a run-off.

I mistyped the 70%, its a 40% hike (for now) which would put Florida in the top 5 of all states as far as corporate tax rates . We barely have corporate jobs here as it is and this would cripple a lot of expected growth in Florida and push jobs out. What good is free education when you're producing stupid grads who have to go out of state for jobs ?

There's no incentive to do well in college other than the Financial burden . Last thing I want is these lazy kids getting free rides when they don't take education serious. Free college is for those who excel or have hardships period. Not for D students who have no other plans except to spend 4 years in mom's basement rent fee playing video games.

I don't believe trickle down is 100% effective but I do know corporations have no problem leaving states for environments that benefit their profitability and when they exodus adults can't work and support their families. Corporations pay a fair tax now compared to other states and it's the parents job to fund their kids education not a corporation .

Furthermore you're going to get more substandard Americans coming through the system and complaining when Asians, Indians, and Nigerians come and take their jobs because they take their education serious.

We live in a hybrid capitalistic and social society, you moving 100% to either side is disaster waiting to happen

I know Florida isn’t Cali, but cmon son, Cali is taxin everybody’s ass and yet companies are tripping over themselves to set up and or expand shop out here. A higher tax rate ain’t the end all be all, especially when local governments can still provide tax incentives that offset the state rate.

We need medicare for all and free education for ALL.....besides, corporations are PEOPLE too
