I'm 23, so I've been especially motivated to do my research and vote for the right candidates. I was talking to people in the age range of 20s-50s and people were just gonna blindly vote for Carper because they recognize his name or not vote at all. No one knew ANYTHING he has done nor did they even know his positions, and once I educated them it was obviously a no brainer to vote for Kerri, but still. We also have an amazing candidate running for attorney general (Chris Johnsn), but no one even knew this dude or his competitors existed. It's very concerning tbh

Because all people know is the President. It makes it easy to spread the false narrative that Trump and Hillary are the same.

Zephyr Teachout (running for Attorney General) racking endorsements everywhere. Even a NYC councilman switched his endorsement to her. The most wth moment is NYT endorsing her cuz of her expertise and cuz all of the NY corruption and the ties other candidates have to Cuomo and then endorsing Cuomo at the same time lol.

SoS was a dirty campaign by both sides

So I've heard. He has some nickname like Prince of Darkness :heh:

Unbelievable. The hell are y'all doing in that state?

Charlie Baker is close to untouchable in MA. He has plenty of bipartisan support and is really a centrist imo. He’s got a better shot at President than Warren does.

He has no shot at winning the republican nomination.

I think Letitia James will pull it out on the strength of being the first black AG.

What's crazy is that imo James fukked her own legacy by making a deal with Cuomo to not run with the WFP. Right now she could be a media darling. Being AG of NY makes you one of the most powerful prosecutors in the world. To be black and do that? You'd be seen as a God if you fixed NY.

But now? Nobody outside the state gives a fukk, and the only people who inside the state who give a fukk are political junkies and businessmen afraid of being arrested by a truly independent AG.

Do I think James has a strong record, yes. Do I think she's put in the work in the community, yes. Do I support her? No, because I don't support Cuomo and anyone that sees him as a good governor is "blah" in my eyes.

Not right now but we’ll see what happens in the next two years. I like his chances to run in 2024.

Anyway the governor from MA that’s most likely to run is Deval Patrick, imo. He’s close with Obama and Obama’s team was grooming him for Pres a while back. I heard new rumblings a few weeks ago that he started taking steps to run

Evverybody is scared of Cuomo...... including the NY Times. There are no term limits on Governor and he has a mean streak. A legit candidate take him next time but he is a shoe in. So no one with sense is going against him outside of Activist who are progressive ideologues at heart.

:snoop:fukking idiots
