not surprised our resident cacologist from Massachusetts have NOTHING to contribute to this thread today.

If you're not arguing Trump vs Hillary or the generic dems vs repubs, they have nothing to say.

The Republican primary was boring in MA and my local races were mostly candidates running unopposed.

Diehl is gonna lose to Warren in the general.

My district is 3 and the Rep ran unopposed. The Democratic winner is a puppet of Nikki Tsongas. People like Tsongas around here so Trahan is gonna take the district.

AG Healey can go fukk herself and while she's probably winning in the general, she has the biggest chance of being upset, IMO.

SoS race was a joke. They just went and slandered each other as much as possible. Zakim seemed like a scumbag.

Gonzalez won. Hopefully, he can get Baker out of here.

Lmao. Charlie isnt going anywhere.

So a breakdown of her district. That line right under Boston is I90. Below that in Roxbury, Mattapan, Milton, Roslindale is a predominantly minority population, largely black. To the top of that line going west is Cambridge and Somerville where you're gonna get a ton of young college kids, hipsters and some immigrants(mainly Brazilian). To the right is Everett, Chelsea, East Boston, Revere which are largely Hispanic immigrants. Her win makes perfect sense tbh. Capuano represented the old guard of Irish/Italians running the city and this districts demographic has become far more Hispanic in recent years Its also been a Dem stronghold for as far as I can remember so thats not gonna change anytime soon. As far as a jumping off point for her career, her district is very important to the state and highly influential so she's in a good position to advance.
