Technology of that nature doesn't just get "destroyed" without a trace. Professionals that at essential to sea travel wouldn't all of a sudden go away, as well as older, smaller types of boats.

I don't even know what y'all are arguing now.. native american, Indian and asian people can all have dark skin it does not make them a black person.

Its possible different cultures accidentally reached America before Columbus but we don't have much real proof yet. Cave paintings with red pigments is not proof.
