$125k fully remote or $165k three days on site, which would you choose?

She’ll show up around 11 and leave by like 2 lmao. A lot of her colleagues are contractors so they move more carefully and come in at 8 and leave at 4-5 lol.

I’d choose either Monday and Friday to work from home or Thursday and Friday.

You are less productive at home.

If I chose Thurs - Fri to work from home I’d get all my work done Mon - Wed then pull it back on Thurs - Fri.

Who says you can’t leave early at your lunch time anyway? Everyone at my corporation does it.

Used to have lunch dates with a woman I met between jobs.
Asked her one time after 45 minutes if she had to get back to work.
She looked at me with the blankest stare and said she was done for the day.
That's when I knew I didn't want to work corporate.

Do I get to pick which 3 days? I'll go in Mon - Wed. Most Holidays fall on a Monday; so I'll only have to go in 2 days a week at least 6x a year.

40k before taxes? Highly possible but again it's also the freedom to be anywhere. If you are making 165k in NYC with the 3 days vs 125k in a city like Charlotte, I think you definitely are and Charlotte is a great city but you can move to different places around the world and live there temporarily. I know people who live in Costa Rica, Mexico etc and are saving a lot with a better quality of life.
