Whyte is so out of shape lol. I think after his situation he got depressed and probably over ate and didn’t train for a period too. He needed the rounds for sure. He won every round apart from maybe 1 but he clearly was gassing and his punches weren’t as they usually are, despite that had Wach in a bit of trouble at the end but he was in 2nd or 3rd gear the whole fight. He needs more training time and maybe even 1 or 2 warm up fights because he’s way overweight, not sure how much, maybe a couple of stone infact.

Good win on short notice let's go, title shot 2020

Main thing for him was getting through, I thought he’d win but in the back of my mind knew it could be a possible banana skin just for the fact he’s hardly had any notice and he’s in terrible shape, not just poor but very poor, you can see what’s happened has effected him, he hasn’t maintained himself at all since the last fight. If he’s gonna get his big shot soon he needs to be ready, he’s fully cleared now so he must get back in the gym asap and shed a lot of that weight, risky taking a fight against a lot of heavyweights in that state, you just never know because he fought a very defensive fight because he knew he was going to gas and he did, last couple of rounds was a struggle for him. He won comfortably but I wouldn’t even have taken the fight, needs to be in better shape, but overall for him since he came through its positive cause he got the win, some rounds, a pay day and now has the time before the next fight to sort himself out.
