Yeah it was under rules where Joshua would still get max value while he would be under their thumb.
I mean Joshua deserves it? Outside of canelo hes the biggest fighter in boxing bro.

Lmao at Wilder having the nerve to slate AJ for not dominating the fight even though he won every round

Whereas this clown was losing every round against Ortiz until the knockout

bytch ass nygga also had to rely on biased judges to avoid defeat to Fury

But this is the champion of black Americans and their last hope :laff:

exactly. nikkas act like Wilder throws a lot of punches or gets into exchanges. This nikka barely threw against Ortiz cuz he was scared to get his ass knocked out.

Deontay Wilder let rip at Andy Ruiz Jr after the Mexican-American lost his heavyweight world titles to Anthony Joshua.

The American, the WBC heavyweight champion, had been hoping to eventually unify against Ruiz Jr as they both fight under Al Haymon’s PBC banner but was furious to see him relinquish the belts back to AJ, who works with rival promoter Eddie Hearn.
Wilder vented to The Athletic: “People say I have no skills, but my intellect is high enough to know if I’d been in a situation like [Ruiz Jr] and something’s not working, you’ve got to change up my style.

“I’m smart enough to know, cut the f***ing ring off.
“Once you cut the ring off, you put Joshua in a corner and you can have your way with him by hitting him the way you did the first time

“To be in boxing that long and not know how to cut the ring off? If he knew, he didn’t do it, or he didn’t have the intellect. I’m a little upset with him.”
Ruiz said he was doing great, not letting this moment get to him, but in the end you hear him saying he ate too much and should’ve trained harder… Like, what the f***?

“What do you mean you ate too much and could’ve trained harder?

Not scared

Very smart and he got what he wanted.

and that's exactly how AJ fought against Ruiz. That fat mexican has an iron chin. Never been dropped before. First person to do it was AJ and then he got careless and went rushing in. You box Ruiz the same way Lennox boxed Tua, two short stocky plodders with great chins. I would love to see Wilder fight Ruiz lol. He won't knock dude out and the only way he would win is by using the strategy Josh used, except he's not as skilled as Joshua.

I knew going to this Joshua was going to have to play the distance. I will be honest I didn’t think he was going to move like that. The footwork his displayed yesterday dope as hell , the way he use the long guard that shyt was textbook.

I don’t think Ruiz thought Joshua was going to come to box. I feel as if he was expecting Joshua to come avenge the knockout and thought that would just wait for those opportunities to counters. The fact that he came in unprepared because he didn’t have the discipline to train was ridiculous. I don’t want to see a third time unless Ruiz goes out there and prove that he is willing to shift gear to be that disciplined and really be a contender again.

Most of us would get blinded by the glory, but when you get your chance you got to go all out.

Yet you're an AJ fan, fukk outta here :russ:

Why because I’m critical of a fighter...:gucci:

As an AJ fan I didn’t like the way he fought so scared against an unmotivated Ruiz. Ruiz is not some HW destroyer. Plenty of top guys faced him and not been out down.

I just wasn’t impressed.

I used to give the edge to AJ over Wilder but now I’m going to give it to Wilder. AJ don’t have that dog in him. :hubie:

Bruh, its not Wilders skill its wilders power no way in hell does AJs team want him in there with him. Hell they won’t put him in there with Fury.

There is one belt out there that would make him undisputed and they are afraid to go after it . Rightfully so at the end of the day boxing is how they make a living got to prolong your career.

So AJ could put Ruiz on his ass but Wilder couldn’t? Stupid.

Compare boxing with a vertical sport brehs

When did I do that you fukking moron

I compared people, not the sport, Lebron James is way bigger than Andy Ruiz has a person it has nothing to do with sport

Anthony Joshua is way bigger than Ruiz has a person it has nothing to do with weight, look at the same side by side, he's bigger everywehre not just height you fukking moron

and the fact you think height and reach doesn't play a factor in boxing proves you have no reason to speak on the sport

and that wasn't what I was talking about, I was talking about size, there's a difference between size and weight you fukking moron

AJ is a bigger man than Ruiz this is a fact lmao, he is considerable bigger than him

So I guess Lennox Lewis and Holyfield were the same size because they were both heavyweights lmao

fukk outta here you retard

The more I think about it, the more I don't think that unification fight will ever happen. And it's not because Wilder or AJ. It's because I don't think Hearn will ever allow AJ to be put in this position again of losing those belts and not being able to get them back.
