I didn’t think Ruiz had much of a chance in the rematch. Even in the first fight AJ (Anxiety Joshua) knocked him down and was going for kill and got clipped.

Joshua had 6 months to get his head together and turn back into Anthony Joshua, work on his body, and think about the best way to win. Ruiz can fight but he wasn’t trying to keep those belts. Just wanted that payday

Ruiz had a good chance, people can talk about mistakes all they want, capitalizing on mistakes is skill so people can miss me with all of that, AJ boxed very well but Ruiz, on the other hand, was awful. Also why would Ruiz just be looking for a 'payday' when winning would ensure bigger paydays because you know HE was the champion

What I'll say about this is that Joshua showed he could adapt..he boxed instead of seeking a KO...the jab worked in his total favor all night because Ruiz couldnt get inside with any crisp hooks or right hands...he was neutralized by not finding that success this time.
