It’s prizefighting. Look at the turnout and it appears Jojo Diaz put all those butts in those seats at that fight. KOs is what makes them into stars initially. Haney got a great deal (overpaid) when DAZN was trying to snatch any notable American they could to break into the American market. Winning isn’t enough to raise someone into superstardom.

From what I saw, and what Ellebe said, they sold less than half the seats for the entire venue. The proper way to look at it is if wasn’t fighting Jojo Diaz no one would have been there. Tank is filling seats because of who he is and what he does with bums as you all are saying. I want the big names but I agree with Ellebe, unless they’re willing to come to table with real assessments and not from being overpaid then make it happen.

That’s what some boxers and fans fail to realize. Look at mike Tyson for example he is the definition of a prize fighting boxer. That’s why he can still make millions now, he was a cultural phenomenon. And if you see the boxers that come on his show he tries to school them but most don’t listen. Cus, the greatest trainer ever, told mike boxing is about “hit and not get hit, but also be exciting” . You can’t be dull in and and out the ring.

Look at the Canelo/Plant scuffle. The fight had no hype with casuals before that but after that the fight really blew up.
