I can’t explain it but even though Floyd wasn’t a knockout artist in the latter part of his career he still had that pizazz in the ring, Haney boring as fukk.
Floyd stayed disciplined. We knew he wasn’t knocking anyone out above 140 but his defense and crisp counter punching gave him the wow factor. Combined with what we saw him do at 135, it was a dope experience.

Haney is talented, but he's still really green. Could've hurt Jojo to the body.
They got rid of Mayweather Sr way too early. His dad didnt like that Sr was not a yes-man and would call out his bullshyt when he tried to moonlight as a real trainer. Devin should hire someone who has a good record training boxers without KO power. His dad doesnt know shyt he needs to fall all the way back and be a manager like Ellebe.

He should continue with ben davidson they doing a great job, he should however stop trying to please fans and just win by boxing don't need to prove your power. Jojo said he was surprised he sat and exchanged punches , great for fans but makes fight harder than they need to be.

Yeah, both and and Teofimo, I'd like to see with an American trainer.

Someone like Buddy McGirt, or even Roy Jones or John David Jackson.:jbhmm:

this is what will happen most likely if the new covid strain dont shut shyt down

If it does they should just fight in U.S or a neutral venue. Must be a way. Probably with the right timing could do it in Australia though.

A lot of people quit against Floyd once he figured them out and let him cruise to the 12, Floyd was a safety first fighter at that point I didn't take risk if he was winning the fight, even Maidana in both fights he quit, in the second half of the fight FLoyd had him figured it out he took the foot of the gas, Shane did it to, and Cotto

Once floyd get that timing and those counters start coming guys stop throwing punches, and Floyd can just cruise to the easy W

however that's old Floyd, Floyd was whipping ass when he was Haney age, he was beating up his opponents in devastating fashion, Haney is not doing that, he does not have anywhere near the talent of Floyd mayweather and people need to stop making those comparisons
