Haven't met the tall nikka I couldn't land these overhand lefts and rights on

Wasn't any plot armor for short nikkas.

When you step back thinking you outta range from that tall nikkas jab and he still land it.

When you try to Lara your way outta the corner real quick and that tall nikka pivots and it feels like God planted a tree right in front of your path

When you think you're gonna rest in the clinch, but that tall nikka starts to lean an put all his weight on you which makes clinching counter productive now.

Height will definitely pose problems, but it's gonna be the activity that really does it. Canelo hasn't had a hard pace fight since the GGG rematch. Now he's older fighting a much bigger guy in his prime who lets his hands go. No pitty pat sparring Kovalev jabs, but real punches with steam on them. Plus Smith is capable long range, mid range, an on the inside. Canelo will always have something to worry about with this dude.

Of course they haven’t. Why actually watch a fighter when you can just check his nationality and write him off as a bum.

I think Canelo finds a way but Smith is more than a live dog here, and not just because of his height.

TBH the height difference just makes me worry about those Canelo body shots

the thing canelo likes about these british guys, they like to square up and high guard - that makes it so easy to place a left hook behind the right elbow. watch his fight with liam smith, watch his fight with rocky fielding. its always the left hook behind the right elbow.

a lot of americans come up sparring mexican fighters in our gyms. i dont think any of these european fighters really understand how to box mexicans and they make a lot of little mistakes like that.
