The height is the main thing I'm worried about. That's the reason nobody at 168 is lining up to fight Callum smith. Nobody likes dealing with tall ass fighters with legit boxing skills. But I rewatched canelo-kovalev last night and I think canelo handled his height very well. Dude boxed beautifully and basically started setting up that left hook from from the opening round. He took his time and waited for kov to over extend himself then made him pay with thudding counter shots. That's why kovalev was so reluctant to sit down on his punches. Every time he did canelo was landing bombs on him. Canelo just broke him down little by little. And I think he's gonna fight smith the same.
I just expect him to be patient and wait for the perfect time to strike. If he goes in there trying to put on a show and leaves himself open he could get in some trouble. But I think he's gonna be calculated in there. Slowly build up the pressure and start landing some heat after the 6th round. But wouldn't be surprised to smith get dropped with a left hand early. Either way I think it'll be an entertaining fight. Can't wait for this shyt. The p4p king is back
