Unfortunately you seem to be missing the part where that BaCrock Odama also told us we could keep our plans and doctor which was not true.

With his sanctuary cities we, citizens, are even providing healthcare to illegal aliens.

A little bit of sugar mixed with crap.
The vast majority of those folks were people who were paying for their own health insurance and their plans didn't enough benefits/coverage required by ACA. Essentially people had to get or their insurance company upgraded them to a better plan. Of course that's annoying and could be pricer but if you know about ACA you know a lot of subsidies and tax subsidies were built in to cover any increase in cost that people might face. Aka people got better health insurance and tax subs to deal with cost.

The irony in your post though is you're upset people couldn't keep their insurances plan but you're also supporting the repeal of the ACA which will leave millions without insurance

Glad it's being repealed but wish they had a replacement ready to go.

Obama must be like :sadcam: right now. He's being erased in the first week.
:hhh:You wish. The shyt show we are about to witness is only going to put Obama in an even more positive light. Like Biden said go ahead and repeal it.:smugbiden:

by 2020 they'll be begging for something even worse from a conservative perspective: government health care for all.

There's actually plenty to replace it with and it's being done as we speak.

It's a communist tactic to put the rich against the poor and promise the poor that the government will take care of them.

It's too expensive and it makes getting healthcare more difficult for someone like me.

You should be in a padded room. You're hearing things.

I wanna hear your reasoning. Tell me why it's a bad idea.
I don't know enough about why they voted against it, but in the vein of protectionism, the US leads the world BY FAR in drug research and by proxy the US gets more access to these drugs.

Letting other countries sell stuff here undercuts the R&D that our companies use to dominate innovation, which is a relatively good thing.

You can argue how much money these companies make and I'm not blind to that (we could talk about this for months) but focusing on the costs, solely ignores a lot of the calculus

I'd have to read about it more.

Im confused. Can insurance companies now discriminate people w/ ore existing conditions?

How much will this add to the deficit :jbhmm:
The law itself has not been formally repealed yet. The budget resolution kills the funding mechanism though: See http://www.thecoli.com/posts/22633251/

How much repeal adds to the deficit will never officially be known. See http://www.thecoli.com/posts/22684874/

If you want to understand what healthcare spending was like before the ACA and what it will be like with a repeal, look no further than this chart

Who's a fan of Cory Booker here? To make note of it when he tries to run in 2020.

You guys really shouldn't be surprised though. Cory Booker is the US Senator for New Jersey. New Jersey is the home of the US Pharmaceutical industry.

Same reason Ellison capes for Medical Device companies

Same reason harry reid capes for nuclear energy

and the list goes on and on and on
