yea they definitely should have had Punk come in hot and talking shyt about everyone ... even with him dropping a couple F-Bombs on live TV (like Vince did years back)... it would be worth the fine from USA Network.

like others have mentioned, the happy-go-lucky Punk doesn't work further than his first night entrance debut ...... WWE really should have had him go off tonight.

THAT would have pushed the needle as they say.

I’m just saying if that word was uttered they aren’t going to get fined for it because it’s cable TV. Cable TV isn’t bound by the same rules and regulations as broadcast TV.

Nah that's going to get old quick. He gave his good to be home promo, but now he can really get into what he wants to do ftom this point forward. WWE won't make the same mistake AEW did by giving him the happy to be here gimmick and wasting his momentum, they're getting ready to light the fuse for the Seth feud which is going to be crazy hot.

have been saying it for years, and a lot of dudes get VERY deep in their feelings over it ... but AEW gotta start bringing in legit looking talent, not just Apple Store assistant manager-looking talent..... they gotta raise the damn height requirement over there if they truly want to compete.

Punk didn’t need a shoot promo tonight, this is typical WWE when someone comes back they have to thank the fans and give them a little bit of why they are back.

Then they are going to start writing stories for them, this is the big leagues they aren’t going to rely on shoot promos and dream matches.

Anyone thinking he was going to get personal on his first night back doesn’t know what show they were watching. The shoot stuff only works when it’s about things that happen in WWE not outside.
