Ortiz was the ring general for 6 rounds though, thats why people are saying he was outboxing Deontay.
Boxing is more than just hitting, its positioning, feinting, and etc.
He had Deontay hyper defensive, walking him around the ring, doing whatever he wanted in there, but he made a mistake and Deontay, set it up and took him out.

WILDER FOUGHT LIKE THAT
IN THE EARLY RDS OF THE 1ST FIGHT TOO.
(A FIGHT I ATTENDED)
HE RESPECTS ORTIZ SO HE DOESNT
DIVE RIGHT IN AGAINST HIM
LIKE HE DOES AGAINST MOST FIGHTERS.

Lennox Lewis would be a perfect trainer for him. Knowing Wilder. He’s not going to change anything. He said it himself that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
I think Virgil Hill, Manny's successor would be great with him.
Mark Breland and Jay Daes, have taken him as far as they can.
Hell George Foreman could give him some legit tips for days, since I beleive Wilder fights in a very poor version of his and Liston's style

I THOUGHT WILDER WAS CRAZY
FOR TAKING THIS FIGHT.
HE HAD NOTHING TO PROVE...

WHILE FURY AND AJ OUT HERE
FIGHTING CUPCAKES.

RUIZ JUST TURNED OUT TO BACKFIRE.

Ruiz was never a cupcake real fight fans know his actual first loss was extremely controversial decision against joe parker one of the best heavy weights . A cupcake would have been AJ fighting Jerrell Miller

No, they wouldn’t.

You haven’t been paying attention to boxing this year, and it clearly shows.

ESPN barely promotes their PPVs, which is why they have had like 1 in the last 3 years?

Crawford vs Khan had a training camp special by BT Sports, it’s still on their youtube. Yes, England’s BT Sports trumped ESPN with promotion on that fight...it was frustrating.

FOX PPV’s have 4 part Fight Camp shows played every weekend for 4 weeks leading up to the fight...and they play these in and around NFL on FOX. Hell, even regular FOX fights get more promo than ESPN PPV’s!!

ESPN can’t even put the recent Terence Crawford interview from Sports Center on their own Youtube page. Bob Arum also said the Terence Crawford fight will not have a press conference.

But yes, a Max Kellerman is going to save the day.

Please.
You’re comparing a Crawford -Khan fight to one of the biggest fights that can be made featuring a fighter they invested 80 million in

If you're a fan then you're excited but if you're a fan of the fight game you have to ask, how long until this isn't enough.

Good for him. Good for the Bomb Squad. But this wasn't as impressive as the announce team is making it out.
:gucci:the nikka is 42-0 and is already thinking retirement at this point. and anthony joshua cant even handle heat from a short pudgy mexican if thats the angle youre looking for. he aint nowhere near as good as ortiz and is getting carried out on a stretcher if he ever faces wilder, which he wont bcuz european trainers aint never came back and out coached an american trainer in a heavyweight rematch:sas2:

Deontay took chances in the first fight, he actually pressed Ortiz and caught him early too.
He was very passive before the 7th round this fight.
He might have been over respectful, I don't know, but he didn't fight him this way last fight
