Bud needs to come over to PBC and Allah Haymon to appease the LDBC crowd and show he really with the shyts… only guy that probably gives him problems (idk about Spence) at 147-160 might be Boots Ennis in all honesty

He needs to be like Canelo and cross the street to get them belts. Then cross over to any street that he wants.

Bob look like he gon cry. But he deserved it. He talked all that shyt about Bud not being marketable and how he didn’t care of he left. Bud deserved better.
Lol I'm not going to front when Bob was bombing on Bud months ago, I was slightly disappointed that he had smoke for other fighters when his promoter was throwing salt on his name...glad it was a case of him just bidding his time.:wow:

I assume Shawns dads statements came from the fact Shawn was still doing media work and the podcast while training for a fighter like Bud which is really some one foot in, one foot out stuff. Still that comment shoulda stayed between them vs being used in a “i told you this would happen Shawn” manner for the world to see

I still feel it's Spence tbh :yeshrug:

I don't feel Bud did much to separate himself from Shawn or even his performance against Shawn from Spences, Thurmans or Brooks performances against Shawn. I had it Bud 5-4 going into the 10th- that's far from a dominating performance from Bud. He found himself in the same type of close and competitive fight that all of his contemporaries were in.

Yes, he got the TKO but truth be told I found the stoppage to be premature and Kenny Porter stopped Shawn Porter tonight in all reality. :manny:

And although I give Bud credit for the stoppage, I take into account that Porter already had 3 losses coming into this and got knocked down before in his career already.

All in all I thought it was a cool fight. Didn't blow me away at all and far from FOTY consideration but I was looking for Bud to dominate Shawn in a way that nobody has and he DIDNT do that:upsetfavre:

I've always said this.. Thurman and Spence went life and death with him. Brook took 8-9 clear rounds off Porter..just couldnt stop him. In those fights Porter was firing back hard to the final bell.

With the knockdowns Broner and Spence put him down but he got back up raring to go. Crawford had dude walking funny and having a mental breakdown in the ring from accumulated punishment even after a close fight on the cards. That's enough separation for me.

Either Brook or Crawford beat Porter better than most.

Spence maybe that dude at welter belt wise but I feel he is running on borrowed time physically. More so than Crawford.

Yeah, Crawford was breaking him down and probably going to win the fight, but it was still a bad stoppage considering the circumstances. Could have given him another 15 seconds at least, just to see how he reacted and if he was going to take more damage.

Crawford's win over Porter was clearly better than Spence's but I'm not putting any stock in that, that life and death stuff is an exaggeration. I still think Spence vs Crawford will be a good fight that I'm definitely not placing any bets on:hubie:
