Its just like people saying Porter hurt Spence, that gif is a fighter trying to collect and balance themselves. Spence's legs never buckled, he kept his composure and he was right back to what he was doing almost immediately. nikka on here have a wierd definition of getting hurt. Crawford's legs bowed and his hands dropped and he immediately retreated when Gamboa caught him with that short right. That is getting hurt. Spence took one punch from Porter where his legs didn't fold, and he blocked or made Porter miss on every other punch he threw while standing his ground.

I don't think Porter was going to win, but it wasn't bad enough to be stopped at that point. If Bud finishes punishes him worse, then fine. Throw it. But as it stood it wasn't that bad. fukk all the projection shyt

thats correct. but if shawn had confided any kind of retirement talk to kenny going into the fight, i can understand not wanting to let the last image of shawn in the ring being one taking a bad beating or sprawled out on his back with his tongue hanging out like someone eloquently mentioned. shawn had more to give but i understand a decision to not let that happen and to let shawn retire gracefully after a long hard career. there was nothing more shawn needed to prove or give to boxing, at least to me.
