Reality is that Shakur could be fighting Devin right now for undisputed at 135, which would have gotten more promotion and have more buzz. But he fighting next thursday for ONE BELT getting no promotion....whatever Frank did it ain't close to what Shakur did:mjlol:
shakur is going for his 3rd dvisional belt in 20 fights, frank martin is not a champion in his 18 nor has beaten anyone who was one...you are caping for the wrong thing breh :heh:

Frank Martin gonna get his shot down the line at a belt......but is Shakur gonna get a shot at being undisputed again:francis:

Shakur needs to make a statement next week with De Los Santos.

shakur might have done bad business but he is still in a TITLE fight in the interim against a solid lightweight from the other side of the street..he's a 2 division champ, unified in one of them...outside of blowing weight he easily handled conceicao and the jap his last times out

frank martin nearly got upset his last time out against a sizable underdog and ducked a guaranteed title shot to face Mr. TBA or TBD :heh:

im struggling to see why you are caping/stanning so hard for frank martin right now..the math aint mathing bruh

i respect de los santos because he wasnt in no convos for title shot but said to shakur he was available online...shakur and brain trust sent him the contracts and the shyt got made...man saw an opportunity in a relatively shorter than usual turnaround for him..i wish frank martin had that mindstate...at least i thought he had it prior to all of this

You said it....Frank last outing wasn't that great and most would have him losing against Shakur, but now he got more time to improve. And this event isn't doing good in terms of sales and no buzz which can give him more leverage later on....thats why i said him pulling out might have been a good move.....because this shyt has no buzz and Shakur was acting like he was popping enough to turn down Devin.

Shakur bet 15k he was going to knockout Conceicao and lost that 15k.....He better make sure Edwin don't pull an upset :umad:

frank martin will never get leverage over anyone..nevermind a shakur stevenson...without being a champion...you fight and become champion you have leverage....shakur is still fighting on national TV in a main event spot for a title....all this shyt you keep parroting about sales and buzz is inconsequential esp if frank martin isnt facing anyone worth a damn at 135 next...since he has fought his last fight on showtime, we dont even where he is going to fight next or what metric(s) to gauge anything..you miss 100 percent of the shots you dont take

and i have no idea why you think id be mad if edwin wins...if he wins great...a big underdog that pulls off an upset is cool...i had no problem with it when andy ruiz beat anthony joshua for the belts after a short turnaround and other heavies turning down shots...your blatant stanning is making you say illogical nonsense :russ:

I don't get why you acting like Frank made the worst move ever while minimizing what Shakur did by turning down the chance to be UNDISPUTED! We see tons of boxers turn down fights for one belt, hell Isaac Cruz, Loma and Kambosos turned down this fight with Shakur Also one of the reasons Frank turned it down is said to be due to the split of the money. Shakur overestimated his popularity, which was why he wasn't willing to take that 25% against Devin but wanted Frank to take that:what:....Frank ain't even want 50/50 split just a fair split.

The Frank vs Shakur had more interest by far. Look at the thread for that one compared to this one :mjlol: .....i don't get why you calling it stanning for pointing out how there is no buzz around this event and shakur overestimating his popularity......Edwin pulling an upset would be funny.

you think im caling you a stan for saying it has no buzz? :heh:..when you mentioned frank martin/pbc and are defending a man who is not fighting and not fighting for a title vs a man who actually is doing both.....that my friend is stanning....and thats a plan b for shakur...we dont know what frank martin's plan b but if he isnt facing a killer or somebody similar of shakur's stature..its a duck....you picked the wrong fighter to compare shakur to in his situation when frank's situation as of right now is worse and you keep doubling down on it

Defending :dahell: .....i only brought him up because how they are doing this event.

Is Edwin De Los Santos vs Shakur a decent fight? yeah....Would Frank vs Shakur have been better? yeah.....Would Devin vs Shakur have been even better then that? Hell yeah. One dude name is involved in all them fights and his name is Shakur. Out of all of them fights he giving us the one with De Los Santos...and you saying i am stanning :mjlol:

You can call Frank a duck but then Shakur gotta be a super duck for not taking Devin

There was no real negotiation to make the fight happen

Devins camp sent him an offer, Stevens counter that offer, and haney moved on instantly.

Devins camp sent him an offer, Stevens counter that offer, and haney moved on instantly.

“Shakur knows what time it is with me,” Haney told a group of reporters. “He knows my offer was legitimate. If he really believed in himself, he would’ve took the fight. It was the most money he would’ve ever made with all his fights put together with that 25%. That’s a fact.”
