Lately I have noticed that people love denigrating Crawford for his resume. The resume argument is disingenuous. The better topic of discussion is who hasn't Crawford fought that he either should have fought or was supposed to fight? The answer is no one.
I remember Crawford calling out Keith Thurman and wanting to come up to 147 to fight him. What did Thurman say? Crawford hasn't done anything at 147 and he needs to prove himself.
Crawford called out Spence but Spence's reply was that he was on the wrong side of the street.
Crawford called at Danny Garcia when he had a title at 147 and wanted to come up. Garcia didn't want to acknowledge him or fight him.
Crawford has always maintained that he wanted them belts and wanted all the champions. When dudes were champions they didn't want to face.
Now this not saying that Crawford would beat all of these guys, idk who would come out on top. Crawford might lose. Crawford has flaws but he has been calling all them nikkas out. To act like he hasn't called every single one of these fighters out is pitiful.

Shawn Porter...Bud ducked him. Let's not play games. At 147 Bud has CHOSEN to fight lesser competition because the business of boxing is staying in the business of boxing. Bud want Spence to do all the heavy lifting to build the fight while he fights bums in between him cashing out. But let me help you out with who all he could have fought at 147 so far and chose lesser opponents instead.
He chose Benavidez as his first VOLUNTARY defense who was ranked 15th in the WBO behind these names...

This fight tonight against Kell Brook is also a voluntary defense...Brook is ranked 5th in the WBO. Guess who ranked #1? Shawn Porter...why fight Brook over Porter who's coming off a couple big fights and has more name recognition and respect than Brook right now? Also guess who else ranked above Brook...
Vergil Ortiz and Mikey Garcia...You telling me Garcia won't get him more money? Hell Vergil would do bigger numbers than this because of the intrigue of the young gun going for the crown...so why is Bud fight Brook instead?
Jaron Ennis is ranked 9th, why not fight him? He deserved it more than Benavidez who was 15th right? He gon duck Ennis too don't worry.
Stop it my g...the nikka don't want no real work before the Spence cash out fight. We know the game. Bud at 140 and 135 is not the issue we have, he can't help that Regis Prograis, Josh Kelly and all them guys weren't quite there yet when he became king. But he can stop ducking smoke at 147 though.

I don't hate Crawford he's a great fighter but I'm not bout to fake like his resume is dope. When Shawn Porter was champ he wanted the Errol or Pacquiao fight because it was more money and easier to make. Now you ignored the fact that Porter wanted to fight Bud after the Spence fight and Bud them said "Nah we friends". Porter used to say the same thing dating back to 2018 when Bud stepped up to fight Horn. Neither of them wanted the fight before. But now we only here one guy saying I want it and the other saying no.
FYI though, I watch Crawford all the time and show my son film from him to teach certain shyt. Just because he don't have the best resume don't make him a bum or trash. He's a hell of a fighter but he has flaws and ain't the BEST imo. That's not being partial, that's my opinion. You're entitled to yours but you not bout to sit up here and lie about why he ain't fighting better competition.

Brook is a good fighter. He lost to Spence and Golovkin. He fought Spence after being at 160 and having to drop down in weight. That's never a good thing. And he had good moments in each of those fights.

Bro you all over the place...first off I have Brook winning and have stated repeatedly this is Bud's best opponent to date. Brook was the best fighter at 147 before the GGG fight imo.
Bud would beat Thurman, Danny, Mikey and Porter. I would favor him in all those fights but that wasn't the argument you were making. You're missing the point of your own argument.
Either way the fights is starting so we off that for now. If Bud is everything they built him to be he'll win this fight. But just remember, that Top Rank Boxing matchmaking and promo can make ANY decent/good fighter look like a world beater.
And if Bud lose, imma STILL support him and watch his fights. I would still favor him in all those names mentioned earlier
