In a hypothetical matchup between Crawford Lopez, who would you have as the favorite?

We really haven't seen enough of Lopez to even properly make an assessment on this. Lopez only has 16 fights and is 23. By the time he is 27 under the right coach he could vastly improve as a boxer and be a monster, right now from what I've seen out of Teofimo struggling with long arm Nakatani, Crawford could just point box his way to an easy victory behind them long arms if he wanted to.

Well, P4P is about TODAY, not 4 years from now. Lopez's win over Lomachenko should get him a P4P ranking, but personally, I wouldn't rank him higher than Crawford, Spence, or Canelo.:manny:

The interesting thing here, is that a matchup between Lopez and Crawford is actually feasible. Even though the matchup will probably never be made, we don't have to necessarily dip into the grey area of having to compare two extremes, like a flyweight and heavyweight.

Anyways, I say all that just to basically say that P4P is mostly arbitrary and it's not really worth nitpicking being that both TC and Spence are generally seen as top 5 P4P. The boxing world views them as two of the most formidable fighters, and it's time to see them fight already.:yeshrug:

I’d favor Bud over Lopez whether in a P4P mythical or both being at 135

Lopez was lookin :merchant: once Loma decided to throw N touch him... Bud mauls his ass :manny:

Right, and for me, that's why I wouldn't have Lopez over Crawford P4P today. Even though the Loma win is really fukking good and better than any W Crawford got, I wouldn't actually say he's a better fighter than Crawford. Not yet at least.

That's the thing though, Lopez has been moved along VERY quickly in his career so far. He is a 3 belt holder with 16 professional fights and is still raw. We haven't seen him in there with a whole bunch of fighters to really rate him. We don't fully know what he is capable of. Canelo at 23 had damn near 50 professional fights and had beaten multiple hall of famers, we knew what he was capable of, Lopez not so much.

Good for Bud if he leaves Grandpa Bob. Watch him sign to Golden Boy instead of PBC lol. Since Canelo left I'm sure Delahoya is licking his chops for a crack to promote a fighter like Crawford. Hell I'd like Bud under B-Hop more.

I’d actually and finally look at Bud funny if he were to sign on MatchRoom/Golden Boy/DAZN over PBC :patrice:
