He's actually not fine with that. He refused to even rate Ibushi vs Naito from earlier this year because of all the reckless neck bumps, he even mentioned it in the review.

I think he also refused to rate Takahashi vs Ishimori for the same reason

Every so often he'll come out and pretend to be offended by one of these matches but then ignores the dozens of other matches that are doing similar things.

He gave 6 stars to a match that had a dragon suplex off the top rope.

He's a hypocrit.

And now he's pretending that this Omega/Mox match is the most dangerous match in the history of wrestling, like 90% of it wasn't gimmicked barb wire and sugar glass. Like Big Japan ain't doing way more demonic shyt than this on a regular basis.

They literally just had a heel turn that had a months long build...on the internet show and not TV. MJF hasn't even had a promo since the first week of TV. It's not like this is some side angle with low card guys, this is with a guy they've portrayed as the savior of wrestling who has a connection to the fans no one else on the roster has. The guy who gets two entrances for every show and his own special entrance section no one else gets to use. This feud is likely going to be a main focus of TV heading forward. And it was all done on social media promos?

That's just fukking lazy. Not following up on star making matches for weeks or months at a time (like they've done with Darby TWICE now) is not just fukking lazy, it's exactly what WWE does. They're heading for the 3rd Pac/Page match while half the roster hasn't even made it to TV. Sammy Guevara has been on every fukking show multiple times.

Middling show - as good as most of the "better" WWE main brand shows in recent memory, but not without its problems.

Didn't watch the pre-show.

- Young Bucks / Santana & Ortiz was great. Right result. They're using the Bucks well to put over talents like this... tbh, I'm always impressed by Bucks matches, but they've never got particularly over with me. I don't care about them, but they're a great tool to use to elevate some of the new teams the brand will yoke its tag division around. Ricky Morton is a DAMN FOOL. Page/Pac was fine. Pac is great. Page is... Page.

Spears/ Janela - not gonna lie, I zoned out. No idea even who won.

Tag three way was brilliant. Fenix and Pentagon are

Riho/Sakura - eeehhhh. Wanted to love this. Didn't really catch fire.

Main Event: Jericho/CAWdy - brilliant all round. Even the fukkery finish didn't really subtract from it. I called Cody losing the moment the stip was added... and it's a good move for them. I would've held off the MJF turn at least one more PPV, but it was a pretty good kick to the nuts, so


Lights Out: Omega/Moxley -
They went too far, but it was better than selling an unsanctioned match and then NOT going far enough. Needed more storytelling. Not mad at it in the slightest, but I don't want to see another for a good while and whoever said LU had better ones was right - enjoyed it, but I'd take Hell of War or No Mas over this in a heartbeat.

Crowd was weirdly quiet. Hope the shine's not rubbing off too quickly.

JR needs help out there. He's not as bad as everyone is making out, but a 2 man booth isn't enough for him to carry.

I think it was Page/Pac, but may have been Spears/Janela - one of the referees was WEIRD AS fukk. Like reacting/wincing every time anyone landed a strike/move. Get Gearl Hebner out there for the whole night.

Just started watching it, about 4 matches in. This is the worst JR I've seen so far in AEW. Was the lack of Schiavone that bad for him? Should be a drinking game for everytime he's already said "but who is the legal man?!?!?!"

People in the last couple of months in the last year of the second decade of the 21st century..... may need to catch up and stop watching this shyt like it’s 1992 in the 20th century
