JV/Max/Quintana/Cookie/Peterson/Megill. I'd comfortable with that. Add Senga and I'm very happy with the talent and depth of the starters. Even better if they manage to trade for Burnes. If they could pull that off we would have to be the favorite to win the NL the next 3 years.

I keep seeing people want to trade for Devers or Ohtani now which I really don't understand cuz it would cost a lot prospect wise and then people would also expect us to sign them when they become free agents.
Losing prospects (i feel like Baty would be asked for in either trade) and then spending a ton of money on those position players isnt wise when we're probably going to spend on pitching again 2 years from now and people definitely are expecting us to be in on Ohtani and Soto while keeping (extending aka $$$) Alonso and McNeil here.
We're gonna have to obviously need to develop pitching internally too and in a trade for either of those probably cost us one of our best when we aren't loaded with pitching prospects.
