If this deal falls through, Correa is probably headed back to the twins for 5 years or less, but I can't see it falling through after Cohen got involved. I do find it weird how The injury is 8 years old and hasn't affected him yet

Still no updates on Correa. I still think it gets done but it's taking longer than I thought.

If a second long term contract falls through, I don't think he's ever gonna see a contract longer than 5 years for the rest of his life. The other teams would be idiots to offer long term deals after this. The free market gives and the free market takes. This would be legal collusion and there would be nothing the union or Boras could do about it.

If the Mets get him it would have to be longer than 5 years. He's not interested in renogiating.

Still nothing on Correa. How bad is that leg because it's been 8 years and two different teams? Jacob deGrom's arm passed a physical. Same with syndergaard, Wheeler, etc, etc.
