Well in the 16/7/8th centuries, they were running around doing a lot of Jihad business around West Africa which really destabilized upper west africa.

In Ghana, Liberia, and Nigeria they seen as menacing pastoral herds people that have no respect for folks land, violent, etc.
It’s sad. Almost every country/ethnic group run similar playbooks. South Africans are xenophobic to Nigerians/Zimbabweans. Japanese to Chinese/Koreans. Romanians to gypsies. Israelis to Palestinians.

There always has to be a group to scapegoat.

You are low key showing how you feel about the Africans with darker skin and features not popular in the western world.

Exactly, like what's the significance of this besides the fact she is lighter skin with a narrow nose :stopitslime:
It's like dude hype 100% black people exist who possess features associated with white/mixed/"exotic" women

What are the geopolitical reasons? I don’t know anything about them tbh I’m interested in learning.

How they ended up running a Country that shall not be named, due to British favoring the Hausa-Fulani alliance over the forest belt ethnic groups. I will leave it at that, because there will be about 60 pages worth of posts calling for the death of Fulani, etc. due to the Civil War in that Country that shall not be named.

On the west side of West Africa the Fulani and the Mande have had a love hate relationship over the centuries; and their wars are the reason the Fulani were driven into that Country that shall not be named. However, the Fulani and Mande disputes has not always been contentious, but they did throw each other into slavery quite often. Many Fulani slaves were brought to the USA and one of our greatest slave narratives is from a Fulani enslaved in the USA.

On a side note if a typical African American took a DNA test then they will have quite a bit of Fulani DNA. If you check your cousins list of African matches on GEDMatch you will probably see just as many Fulani cousins as Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo cousins.

I’m Senegalese and Fulani, but I’m way darker than her and almost every other Fulani I meet. Maybe I’m a different tribe than I think?
Not tryna act like I know more than you but most likely a different tribe. I notice Senegambian Fulanis are much darker. Meanwhile Nigerian Fulanis are much more lighter and sometimes almost Berberish. Think it depends on the tribe and nationality because the Fulanis are really the LARGEST ethnic group in Africa.

Whats your hair texture like.

Just like Tuaregs, not everyone who is Fula is actually Fula. Its more Tribes got absorbed into that tribe, or simply got essentially conquered and took on their culture, same with Tutsi also

DNA tests never test 100% of your DNA
It doesn't. Fulanis are known based on recent studies to have a good amount of Ancient North African/Berber admixture. However that North African admixture is indigenous. Also on Ancestry.com a clearly pale skinned Moroccan can be "100% North African" when we all know Moroccans and other Maghrebis have significant admixture.

Due to Fulani being nomadic, they have assimilated DNA from other surrounded groups, so some of them do have North African DNA, but many don’t.
