those mixtapes were classics..could still listen to those today and not skip one track.. i agree the massacre shouldnt be on this list though

those mixtapes are not original material if he tried to sell those mixtapes he would be sued because of sample clearances.

the only good stuff is get rich or die tryin power of a dollar don't count because it was never offically released and as far as his solo material even his own fans agree everything after get rich or die trying has been wack.

the only classic original material he has is power of a dollar imo get rich is overrated imo.
it doesnt have to be original his songs were better than the artists songs he took
his marketting was crazy because after they played that artists song they would play his right after it cause people would request it thats how he blew up so fast

it was a delusional bet all things considered. Kanye made the best music of his career with Graduation and at that time, 50 was making the worst music of his career. If it had been Graduation against a GRODT-level of quality, Ye would be an afterthought.
Graduation is on the same level as Get Rich or Die Tryin

This was 50 already on the ropes. After Game went in on G-Unit, everything started to crumble. Tony Yayo's debut didn't do as well as Banks or Buck's. Bankd and Buck's second albums didn't do as well as their debuts.

The nail in 50's coffin in regard to his career was Ross. They both dropped albums in '09 at the height of their beef and 50's album barely outsold Ross. To make matters worse, he couldn't secure a release date for future albums on Interscope. Meanwhile, Ross went on to go on a monster run.

This shyt wasn't fair...

Ye & Def Jam was sitting on the best singles of his career. 50 had no clue the class nerd had the Iron Man suit in his locker. In my head Graduation is Ye's second best album. He actually sounded like a pretty good rapper and the songs were interesting throughout. Truly enjoyable shyt

sure. if you're a Ye stan.

But nobody else really thinks this.
I still haven't listened to The Life of Pablo and besides Blood on the Leaves I don't fukk with Yeezus. I don't consider MBDTF a classic. So yeah, your Ye Stan crutch goes out the window with that one. I do appreciate you taking the time to poll the entire hip hop listening public to confirm nobody else really thinks this, doe:ehh:
