Petty is young and can improve. Which he has since last season.

its different with QB's because the replacement level is drastic. any other position Id agree.

His first drive was actually impressive. Strong arm, made progressions, led his target for the TD(i think it was to Anderson, can't remember)

After that... he looked bad. Skittish of the rush; not surprising since he got sacked like 100+ times in college.

There's talent there, but it's very, very raw.

Hack looked exactly like he is.

A guy with some talent but needs a complete overhaul of his mechanics and confidence.

A true project.

He's at best 3 years away. Baffling pick in the 2nd round. I'd have no problem with taking him in rounds 4-7.
