Jets moves: The Jets waived Jarvis Harrison, Ross Martin, Kyle Williams, RB Terry Williams, RBLache Seastrunk, TE Jason Vander Laan, C Kyle Friend, G Jesse Davis, DE Helva Matungulu, LB Deion Barnes and DTShelby Harris. They placed Smith on reserve/PUP.
Only notable is Jarvis Harrison. 5th round pick from last year. First macc pick to be cut. Apparently won't be signed to the practice squad or so says cimini

No he wasn't. He had 2 bad drafts like you just said, with very little to salvage from all those picks, yet you were gonna let him pick a 2nd QB?
But like I've always said about Idzik, if you weren't gonna get the authority to fire someone you didn't want, don't take the job.
The QB to pick would have been Mariotta at 2. No brainer.He shouldn't have passed on Bridgewater and Carr, but then allowing Rex to win two games in December was by far his worst mistake.

The Jets maxed out their cap. Of course they're going to play the best quarterback on the roster. Fitz gives you replacement level type play and with enough breaks and improved special teams you can make the playoffs.
The rest of the QB's can't play.
