Cb is going to be interesting to watch.

Revis
Skrine
Williams
Milliner
McDougle
Burris

Am I missing someone? I thinks that's how the roster will be.

Either Williams or Milliner need to step up in a big way.
To be honest, those catches Milliner gave up were ridiculous

If Geno was the best on the team they wouldn't have signed Fitzpatrick. They even had an extra look a Geno before Fitzpatrick signed.
Having said that Geno is the backup. If Fitzpatrick gets hurt we're not completely fukked. Geno isn't getting cut.

Geno is the best QB on the team. The contingencies explaining Geno's demotion are delineated by the fact Bowles is a rookie defensive coach (who has too much trust in veterans), Mac comes from Houston (who put their trust in god awful QBs over the years like Schaub), and the politics around Geno's getting punched. The team will suffer when we 1-3, but I digress.

I don't mind Geno, I would have been fine with seeing what he could do if Fitzpatrick didn't resign.

Fitzpatrick earned the right to be the starter.

Mac Bowles Decker Marshall liking Fitzpatrick better isn't some lie or conspiracy.

And just going off what I've seen. Fitzpatricks play last year is better than Geno's in the two prior turn over riddled years. And I'm not going to get into coaches or coordinators or recievers cause it is what it is. Doing so would be pure guess work.

I actually hate this debate lol. Fitzpatrick is starting and that's just the way it is :heh:

The fact is unless you got Belichick Brady there's always going to be fans who think the coach sucks and the back up is better. I stopped worrying about things I can't change years ago

That signing had much to do with Woody.

It's tough to buy that it was politics that caused the Jets to rush Fitz out there last season with a torn ligament in the thumb on his handoff hand. Or politics that had Chan Gailey playing extra safe when Geno had to come in for an injured Fitz last year. Or that after Geno got reps in front of everyone, the team gave in to Fitzpatrick's demands and paid him more than they originally planned. Whether you agree with it or not, the coaching staff doesn't trust Geno and he has gotten the reps and opportunities to change that. Fitz with the holdout gave Geno the opportunities to quiet down his WR's and give Mac more leverage in negotiations...that didn't happen. But he definitely showed some growth in decision making that preseason game, so maybe he can show these cats enough to get himself a shot in the near future.

Pretty much. Honestly crazy how much people still care about this.

Playing extra safe when Geno came in?

Geno hit one of three corner patterns we connected on all year and geno td to decker was the same exact play call fitz hit decker on vs the Colts.

There was nothing safe about the play calls that game. Where do you get this stuff from?
