I'm fine with the Lee pick.

I really like the Jenkins pick. There were plenty of times at UGA where he really stood out more than Leonard Floyd. He may not be the athlete Floyd is, but I really like his potential in the pros. Very happy with that pick

Maccagnan basically admitted though that he would have taken Shaq Lawson had the Bills not picked him right before them

Francesa was saying that after Lawson went it came down to Lee and Treadwell

And both those options are fine with me. I preferred Doctson, but Treadwell wouldn't have upset me.

I think we got a steal in Peake. I think he has the potential to be a really productive receiver, shocked as hell he dropped that far down

Where do we get find the money the money for Fitz anyway, hypothetically speaking?

We are right against the cap.

Some people still think he's going to be back.

The staff keep saying they hope he's back but I don't know, you can't trust a word these guys say publicly I've noticed. They give the media absolutely nothing to work with.

They might have already moved on and are just saying that shyt to appease the fans who slowly and continually have started to sour on Fitz over valuing himself playing hardball when he literally has no other options.

Hard to speculate anything. Maccagnan did about 50 interviews today and said effectively nothing of substance.

Which is one of the things I love about this regime. They don't give the media shyt.

Which makes it almost weird to think how macc who's usually reserved and doesn't show anything made it clear he loved hack for a while, only qb he brought in for a private workout then drafts him in the 2nd round.

He sees something. Let's hope he doesn't have tunnel vision and isn't blinded by the prototype look

Bill o brien might have talked him up something fierce

The bolded is basically true, Remember, Maccagnan started out in the Texans scouting department. Bill O'Brien used to gush over Hackenberg. BoB basically talked him into Hack. And when they met with him privately, they were completely sold on him. They loved his football IQ and whatnot.

Manish Mehta was reporting that the team thought Goff and Hackenberg were head and shoulders above the rest of the QB class, and that after the Rams traded up for Goff they zeroed in on Hack. Also said that Paxton Lynch was never a real option for them, and that they had a 3rd/4th round grade on him
