If you can get a 1 for an interior lineman you do it. Rid yourself of that contract...

Tony is reporting that if Mo gets traded, Jets would consider Jonathan Bullard (DE) as a draft target.

Why would we trade Mo just to pick another D-Lineman, especially when we already have Sheldon & Williams :snoop:

Would depend on if Mo nets us an extra first rounder this year.

Because this is what this franchise does.

Been said this is the type of shyt they'd do.

Sheldon's next. Might as well shop him too.

The Revis trade was robbery in favor for the Jets. Mo isn't an elite player and neither is Sheldon. Those guys are always moveable for the right price.

If we had Von Miller, JJ or Aaron Donald then yeah we should crucify Woody. But for Mo? Nah...the Pats do the same shyt.

A+ for contradiction.

Here's the problem with your once again ridiculous logic. They'll wind up trading those players for players not as good which they draft in round 1 (or in Revis' case, draft garbage replacements for them) using FIRST ROUND PICKS, all to proceed to trade them 3-4 years when it's time to pay up. They do this to damn near anyone worth a shyt here.

Don't compare this to the Pats. As bad as they draft, they draft better than we do. They can find talent later in the draft better than we do. They traded Chandler Jones due to the fukkery that happened to him during the postseason. We're trading Mo because we're setting aside money for God knows who even though all Mo has done has been a great Jet. And to compound that issue, instead of being able to find talent later in this draft and develop it, we're gonna keep burning first rounders on inferior replacements who the Jets will try to move in 3-4 years, rinse, repeat.

We don't have Donald, Watt, Von, then don't sign Mo.

By your logic, since we don't have Brady, Cam, Rodgers or Luck, shouldn't Mac be telling Fitzpatrick to lose our number?

Lol the Pats traded Jones because they have a premier edge player they need to pay and the best tight end of all time. Gronk probably the best non QB player in the league. They draft extremely well compared to us.

Fitz won't get signed long term so that's not really applicable to this current situation. If you can acquire picks, especially high picks from dumb teams like the Bucs it's an absolute no brainer. They key is keeping your roster fluid...especially when you do not have a solution at QB in place.

The Giants spending you can swallow because they have Eli.

But they're not doing that. All they're doing is replacing this player with another player that they won't wanna pay in 3-4 years while giving them first round salaries now. Until they can figure that out, the safest jersey bet is gonna getting a Tanner Purdum one.

If they move Mo for a first rounder they are...and you already know I was against the Revis contract. Interior linemen like Mo do not impact games liked edge rushers do. Neither does Sheldon. Watt and Donald are freak athletes and are complete outliers so that's different. As is Gronk.

Jets fans need to watch more football. The supply and demand for Mo's position vs. QB's is night and day. We can find another productive 3-4 DE. The drop off from Fitz to Petty would be laughable imo.

so they need to stop burning first rounders on them. Since they're easier to find and all, since we have a defensive minded coach and all. Right?

And our D-Line isn't gonna be as good without Mo, especially if God forbid Sheldon fukks up again

I agree they need to stop just drafting interior linemen.
