This qb Draft class sucks. They need to not draft a qb this year and waste a pick. Let petty have another year see how he has progressed from year 1 to 2. If he hasnt dramatically improved in year 2 hes not going to be the answer,hes already old and if in year 2 hes still raw as fukk well draft one next year.
We have to rebuild the o line,LB core etc we have holes everywhere.
How we run a 3-4 and our lb group is wack.

Pryors a good player, will probably be injury prone though due to his playing style. Also a strong safety at 15 overall is a stretch.

....qbs are the hardest position to learn by far. Devin smith was drafted to run go routes. He can do that fitz cant get him the ball. Petty is a raw qb who never played a pro style. I dont even know what point youre trying to make since I didnt say petty cant improve this year.

Also Smith isn't fast enough to just run routes in the league. The one go route he got open on against Houston he dropped the ball.

I feel bad that you are this angry all the time. We are all Jets fans. The first two seasons of Geno's career were bad. There's no other way to slice it. And there's a big enough sample size to project he's never going to be a starter in the league unless he bucks some serious trends. You can derp all you want about weapons and such, but turnovers, fumbles and all around bad decision making is rarely correctable.
Petty hasnt played a down yet so is age, especially at QB where careers of starters generally last into their mid 30's is irrelevant at this point. If he plays next year and sucks then yeah his age is relevant. Right now, it's not. The clock hasnt even started yet.
And yet in fitz first 5 years in the league he had more ints than tds. Just threw 3 straight pick to end our season. Will be 34 when the season starts, and has never been to the playoffs.

Dude I didnt even mention Fiztpatrick. You seem to be more obsessed with shytty on him than anything. Fitzpatrick has been a mediocre QB his entire career, while guys like Sanchez, Geno have been legit bad. Sanchez grades out as one of the worst quarterbacks in the history of the NFL in context with the amount of passes he's thrown. Pairing mediocre with a talented offense is better than pairing bad and or a rookie.
Sanchez had the luck of playing with a fantastic defense his first two years- and where 9 wins was enough for a playoff appearance.
