If the Jets trot out Bryce Petty next year they will probably suck. If they start a QB who we know will at least give us league average production- we wont. It's not a difficult concept. It's why the team wants Fitzpatrick back. The QB makes or breaks you.

You're arguing irrelevancies lol. The other factor is staying healthy. If the Jets bring back the same offense plus Forte, they will not stink. Tremont said the team would be trash regardless of who plays QB, which is utterly ridiculous.

I said from the beginning staying healthy is also a huge factor. Obviously if the Jets were to start Petty at QB next year the expectations change no?
